Once upon a time, there were two boys that lived on a farm... their names were Jimmy and Donnie.
They were usually good little boys, but every once in a while they got into mischief.
Well, their mother went to the store
in town and bought some big, beautiful, ripe, yellow, yummy peaches!
She was so happy! She took them home and washed them, peeled them, cut
them up, cooked them... then put them into big glass jars and put
lids on the jars. Then she took the big glass jars full of peaches
down into the cool, dark basement. She put the jars high onto shelves
in the basement.
When she was finished, she looked at the jars of yummy peaches and she was soooo happy because she knew that now her family would have yummy peaches in the winter when there were no fresh peaches!!! Then she walked back upstairs and did not come down into the basement for several weeks.
When she did come back down stairs later, she looked over at her jars of peaches.... but she was horrified!!!! She just couldn't believe what she saw!!!! There.... were.... almost.... NO .... JARS OF PEACHES on the shelves!!!! She wondered what happened to my peaches?!?!?!?!?.... Then she said.....
